# Etheraio playable world

A science-first, single-player browser prototype. Start at /game. Press Enter Etheraio; graphics do not run before opt-in. WASD/arrows move or drive, Space acts, E enters/leaves the car, Escape pauses. Drag the world to orbit the camera. Touch controls support mobile. Select a destination to travel between activities.

## What works

- Virtual flight tests with thrust, changing mass, gravity, drag and height/time telemetry. Earth, Moon and Mars environment presets.
- Original Emerald roadster and Obsidian touring cars with longitudinal forces and bicycle steering, custom paint and a coastal circuit.
- Football goals, basketball shots, tennis and golf target practice using gravity, drag and restitution.
- Custom character colours, hair/hood and height. Optional portrait from a local photo or user-selected video frame; no uploads, remote recognition or saved biometric template. Portrait mapping is not full 3D photogrammetry. Media permission is required. Removing the portrait or closing the tab clears the selected image from this game.
- Fictional bank-vault symbol puzzle and timed escape. Game credits are local, fictional and non-transferable.
- Home rest, café meals, a timed campus shift, resident conversations, local progress saving and loading.
- Local experiment collection and SHA-256 result export. Explicitly register a generated replication question in a signed-in Etheraio workspace; it remains an unvalidated hypothesis. Existing company exclusions and review requirements continue to apply. No preloaded discoveries or medicine results.
- Optional offline web-app files. Browser installation on supporting browsers; Safari uses Share → Add to Home Screen. Network and workspace actions require an internet connection.

## Equations and assumptions

All numerical models are fixed built-in code. Research questions and imported text cannot modify physics or execute scripts. SI units, fixed 1/60 s steps, maximum 180 s virtual flight, bounded model parameters. The flight engine analytically integrates the thrust contribution for each mass change, then applies gravity and a stepwise drag estimate. Position uses average step velocity.

Flight: Δv = vₑ ln(m₀/m₁), D = ½ρCᴅAv², m = dry mass + remaining virtual mass budget; vertical acceleration = T/m − g − D/m. Air density follows an illustrative exponential profile with 8.5 km scale height, not a validated atmospheric model for all planets. Displayed rocket height is 0.12× world scale; telemetry remains in metres. Ideal Δv excludes drag and gravity losses. No hardware geometry, propellant chemistry, construction steps, weapon guidance, staging, orbital dynamics, CFD or structural qualification is provided.

Cars: Fdrive = min(P/max(|v|,5), μmg), quadratic aerodynamic drag, 0.015 rolling-resistance coefficient, bounded braking and steering. Bicycle yaw rate = v tan(δ)/wheelbase, limited to 0.9 rad/s for game stability. Original models are not calibrated driving simulators. No tyre slip, suspension, gear ratios, differential, damage or realistic crash dynamics.

Sports: gravity plus approximate quadratic aerodynamic drag, semi-implicit position stepping and a restitution bounce. Simplified floor, net/goal triggers and target scoring; no full rigid-body contact solver, spin/Magnus effect, opponents, leagues or professional rulebook implementation.

## Data provenance

The roadster's 181 hp (~134.974 kW), 2.31 m wheelbase and illustrative 2,366 lb (~1,073.178 kg) curb mass are based on public Mazda information. The source page currently labels its content 2025 despite an older URL path. The custom body, drag coefficient, area, grip, steering limits and maximum speed are Etheraio assumptions. The touring car is entirely fictional. No manufacturer emblem, branded vehicle or scanned OEM body is included.

These models use established equations. A generated prediction is not new science, a medicine, a patentable discovery or proof of ownership. Independent replication, domain review and rights review precede any adoption of new research into the world. Game results do not earn ledger rewards or create real Points.

## Resources and privacy

Balanced targets 30 FPS; Light 24; High 60. These are targets, not measured guarantees. Render resolution reduces when measured rendering cost is high. Pause, hidden-tab pause, opt-in battery pause where available and emergency stop prevent active simulation work. No background mining, remote code, camera request or credential access. Browser APIs cannot enforce native CPU/GPU quotas, temperatures, RAM or bandwidth caps. Etheraio Node's background workload remains disabled; Gaming requests ≤8% CPU, GPU OFF.

Local progress stays in this browser's localStorage under etheraio-game-v1. It excludes portrait media, signing keys and account information. Local game credits are editable client data and have no monetary or transferable value. The offline service worker caches only a fixed public game asset allowlist, never APIs, account records or selected photos/videos. Clear the browser's site storage to remove saved progress and offline assets. The game sends no analytics.

## Devices and local run

Windows, macOS, Linux, Chromebook, Android, iPhone and iPad: play the hosted /game in a current WebGL2 browser. Installation availability depends on browser/device support. This release provides a web app and source ZIPs, not native APK, IPA, EXE, console or app-store packages. Some older or memory-limited devices cannot render the world; use Light graphics first.

Desktop offline/source run: install Node.js 24+, extract the game package and run `node apps/network-site/scripts/game-preview.mjs`, then visit http://127.0.0.1:8891/game . No dependency installation is required. Assets are vendored. The local server binds only to loopback and serves a fixed file allowlist. Online workspace buttons point to hosted features when local accounts are unavailable.

## Production scope

Working prototype with realistic lighting, metallic materials, shadows, atmospheric fog, original geometry and concept artwork. It is not a finished photorealistic AAA game, all-life simulator or multiplayer world. Full 3D face scans, large-scale assets, licensed audio/motion capture, complete sports rules, deeper science models, native apps, stronger collision/vehicle simulation, accessibility alternatives and multiplayer require further development and testing. No public science or medical discovery is claimed.

## Native engine and planetary target

The Downloads page includes an Unreal Engine 5.8 source foundation. Windows compilation and a headless nine-cell startup check passed. It has temporary construction geometry, not AAA art. Planet coordinate coverage is provided by world-scale.mjs; the browser game still renders a bounded starter district. Nodes currently construct verified recipes for 16 plots using a bounded classical AI search, not a trained generative model.

The engineering menu adds steady PC/electronics thermal resistance, steady lift, static boat displacement, simple beam deflection and ideal battery runtime. Each model displays omissions. These local results are neither newly discovered science nor certified designs.

Initial verified block reward: 22 closed-loop test Points. A signed trusted aggregate feed can reduce rewards based on relative growth of inference throughput (100 to 120 → 22 to 17.6). No real hardware aggregate feed is configured.
